FAQ

Questions

What is Ruled?

An app and a small puck that help you actually live by the rules you set. Block the apps that steal your time, get up when you planned, and make every slip take real effort.

How does the puck work?

Hold your phone near the puck to unlock your apps or complete your wake. No battery, no charging, no hassle. Put it somewhere that takes effort to reach, and it does the rest.

Why a puck instead of just another app?

Willpower runs out. Distance doesn't. When breaking a rule means getting up and walking to another room, you'll find you rarely bother.

Will it really get me out of bed?

That's the idea. Leave the puck across the room and your wake only counts once you scan it. By the time you reach it, you're already up.

Can I compete with my friends?

Yes. Invite friends and race each other on blocked hours and early mornings. A little rivalry is the best motivation there is.

Which devices will it work on?

Ruled is coming to iPhone, iPad and Android.
